Our Process

What has made Naptown Nannies successful in connecting families and nannies for nearly a decade, is our commitment to serving our families and understanding their unique needs, and guide you with our expertise and intuition in order to make the best match for your family.

1

Step One: Fill out the online application

Once a family fills out the online application we will contact you within 48 hours to determine if our agency may be a good fit for your needs

2

Step Two: Care Consultation/Home Visit

We love meeting families! Your initial consultation will give us the opportunity to learn more about you and your family’s unique needs. Consultations are typically conducted at your home as part of our personalized service, but currently we are doing these virtually. We will walk you through what to expect during your time working with Naptown Nannies as well as provide you with educational resources on your responsibilities as an employer.

3

Step Three: We screen potentials candidates for your family

We understand that your time is valuable. Naptown Nannies does all of the work on the back end, taking all of the info we have have gathered about the goals of your family & carefully sifting through nanny candidates so that you won’t have to sort through endless profiles or interview nannies that are unqualified or able to meet your needs. Let us work our magic..we will present you with hand-selected, high-quality candidates.

4

Step Four: Family Interviews

As soon as we identify a great fit for your family, the candidates’ bio will be emailed to you. We schedule and coordinate all interviews for you, as well as follow up with both you and the nanny after the initial meeting. Before the interviews, especially if this is the first time hiring a nanny or household employee, we will provide you with some sample interview questions to help you prepare for your interviews.

5

Step Five: Follow-up & Trials

Our guidance after the interview is just as important as the work we do in identifying potential candidates for your family. We will help make sure you make the right choice by reviewing potential candidates and also recommending a “trial period”( typically 1-3 days before you formally offer a candidate the position) The trial period allows you to map out your expectations and job duties, and an opportunity for both the nanny and the family to decide if it’s going to be the right fit moving forward.

*Families are required to pay nanny for trial period.

6

Step Six: Make the job offer and welcome your perfect match!

You’ve found your perfect candidate and it’s time to make the job offer! Naptown Nannies will provide you with a template of a work agreement and assist you in finalizing the work agreement between both parties. We will also connect you with our payroll partners at GTM Payroll services that will seamlessly assist you in getting your nanny’s payroll set up to be sure all employer taxes are properly taken care of. Our service doesn’t end there, and we are available for ongoing support if you have questions.

Naptown Nannies and Christine have been so wonderful to work with! I was starting my own business as a consultant and needed some part-time help. Every nanny that I used was wonderful, professional, qualified, and truly great with kids and Christine was excellent at helping fill in gaps as I ramped up on my work. When the time came to hire someone full-time, Christine was right there with candidates, information, and help to screen. Naptown Nannies was truly the help I needed to make our busy life with two kids work seamlessly!
